“Reality of Polluted Water in Favelas”

Colégio Estadual De Itacajá

Everyone has the right to life, but not everyone has the right to drinking water. With the disorderly growth of large metropolises and the industrialization process, the pollution of water resources has constantly accelerated over the decades. This reality raises concern among residents of communities that often do not have adequate infraestructure for water treatment, who in turn end up consuming polluted water. Futhermore, in the not too distant future this pollution could compromise the supply of water resources, thus harming future generations.
